Launch with one page. Make it feel premium. Make it sell properly.
John, having considered where Cotton Fibre is currently at, my recommendation is that we keep the launch website tight, focused and commercially strong. Rather than creating a small multi-page shop too early, I believe the best route is to build one carefully designed homepage with full ecommerce functionality built into it — a page that introduces the brand, explains why the polo shirt is different, builds confidence in the quality and standards, and allows customers to choose size, colour and buy directly.
A separate product page would dilute the impact.
With a new brand and a tight launch range, the stronger approach is one premium product-led homepage that makes the shirt look desirable, tells the story properly, and gives people a clear reason to buy.
The site should behave more like a premium product launch page than a small online shop.

Made In Great Britain. Rooted In Nottinghamshire. Built To A Better Standard.
Cotton Fibre should not just feel like another premium product. It should feel rooted in the values that made British clothing respected in the first place: quality, integrity, responsibility and pride in how garments are made.
The Nottinghamshire and Midlands manufacturing story gives the brand substance. It helps communicate provenance, accountability and a wish to recapture something of the essence of great quality UK clothing manufacture.

Photography first, with AI imagery trialled where useful
The site will be built around the available product photography.
Where useful, I am also happy to trial AI-generated imagery to help explore banners, supporting visuals and campaign-style concepts, provided the results are suitable for the brand and feel credible.
To keep the project moving smoothly

- final logo / branding if available

How the homepage itself should flow
This part is deliberately set out differently so the homepage outline is clearly distinct from the project scope above.
The aim is to make the page intuitive to follow, with each section playing a clear role in moving the visitor from first impression to purchase.
This should feel like a premium product page, not a standard small shop.
The page needs to build desire, explain the quality story, make a strong feature of the Made In Great Britain / Nottinghamshire / Midlands roots, and then make it easy to buy.
Opening hero section
Open with a strong image, a powerful headline and immediate buying options. This first section should establish the product as premium straight away.
Immediate proof points
Directly below the hero, there should be a row of quick trust points so the visitor immediately understands the product’s credibility.
Why the polo shirt is different
This section should explain what sets the shirt apart: the collar detail, the better look under a jacket, the overall quality and the more considered standard of manufacture.
Product detail and craftsmanship
Move into a more visual section built around close-up imagery and detail shots so the quality becomes more tangible.
Made In Great Britain story
This is where the page should make a real feature of the British manufacturing roots — not just as a badge, but as part of the brand meaning.
It should speak about Made In Great Britain, Nottinghamshire, the Midlands, responsibility, standards and the desire to recapture the essence of great quality UK clothing manufacture.
Product options and second purchase point
After the trust-building sections, the page should return to a clean purchase area with colours, sizes, price and add to basket.
Fit, delivery and returns
This section should deal with the practical questions that often stop people buying: fit guidance, pre-shrunk reassurance, delivery included, collection point options and the returns position.
Brand story
Include a short and honest brand story about why Cotton Fibre exists and the wish to bring back a stronger standard of clothing quality, structure and responsibility.
Final call to action
The page should finish with one final strong call to action that reassures the visitor and directs them back to choosing colour, size and completing the purchase.
I’m delighted to work with you on this, John.
I believe there is a genuinely strong opportunity here to create something distinctive, premium and properly grounded in quality, provenance and British manufacturing values.
If you can settle the upfront payment this week, I can begin the preparation work straight away. We can then refine and add your imagery later as it becomes available.
